Wow! Have we got a Super Duper Project for EVERYONE!!  Something we have never ever done before…..

The Sewists, The Knitters and The Crotcheteers ALL [hopefully] making the SAME project ….. in their own medium!!!

Ok… let’s be honest here….This is NOT the woolly knitting TV program….. but we are assured by our Testers that this is achievable [hopefully] within the time frame of our Retreat Day.

We are going to make a Crossover Scarf and Hat [Beanie] set…… There have been versions all over the internet ….. we’ve created and sourced and re-written patterns so that everyone can join in…… Yes! Sewists, Knitters and Crotcheteers too!!  AND… you might just choose to do more than one ‘type’….. so if youre a Sewist and you Knit [or Crochet]….. you can purchase more than 1 kit…… [but you know that already – right??]

We have a selection of yarns…. we’re going to use Aran, so you’ll need a Number 5.5 knitting needle [and the knitters will need a stitch holder] or a Number 5.5 Hook….

For the sewists – we’re using fleece and fabric….

There are kits – of course there are kits!!!  The yarn just arrived …. we have the fleece…. the fabric bit is down to you!  ‘cos you all make different choices!!  OR tbh you could make it from 2 layers of fleece!!!  Your choice!                                                                                                                                                                                                                   In your kit will be 2 x 100g balls of Aran yarn and a Pom Pom for your hat; OR… 1/2 metre of fleece and a Pom Pom for your hat.

Now because there are so many variables – far too many to put on here….. we will ask you – once you’ve booked [and it’ll probably at club] either which Yarn or which fleece you want to have….. so do not panic!!!
